Upside

UPSIDE was built for the Eggplant Discord Q1 2023 Game Jam #16, which had a theme of "Falling Deep"

This is a local multiplayer game!

Descend into the cave to pick up valuable coins and bring them back to your scoring zone. You won't know their value until you turn them in, but coins get more valuable the further down the cave you go. 

Beware! Flying your ship consumes fuel, and carrying cargo consumes even more fuel. You need to beat your opponent, but if you get greedy, you might run out of fuel and end up Falling Deep into the well! 

The game ends when both players are at zero fuel.

The game is fairly obviously not finished :) 

Player 1 Controls

A/D - fire left/right thruster

S - drop the most recently picked up coin

Player 2 Controls

left-arrow/right-arrow - fire left/right thruster

down-arrow - drop the most recently picked up coin
